The purpose of this playlist/album is to protect and empower womxn for their reproductive rights and to advocate for sexual wellness and awareness of womxn’s sexual health. The exterior’s background is made of multicolored acrylic sheets that represent several of the artists featured on the album photographed on a white background. The interior’s background continues the multicolored-acrylic-cutout theme with photographs of stacked cutouts that have been warped, to represent the fluidity, but also the edge to femininity. The curves and shapes of the typesetting are meant to sway along to the rhythm and relate to the corresponding song in some way.

It would’ve been boring to just reach the vision I had for this project with a couple of clicks across a couple of Adobe programs. So instead, I bought multicolored acrylic sheets that were then cut out according to my specifications, and then strategically laid to be photographed. And for the interior, I took a photograph of the acrylic disks, printed them, and experimented with a scanner to achieve the unique warped look.
