The International "Day of the Seafarer" occurs on June 25 every year. This holiday recognizes the invaluable contribution seafarers make to international trade and the global economy, often at a significant personal tax to themselves and their families. This collection of stamps pays homage to three major ocean explorers throughout time; Jacques Cousteau, Leif Erikson, and Jacques Piccard.
